Fountain Head is a location within the present day Glen, best known for its scenic spring. The confederation trail crosses through Fountain Head, as did the train when it was extant.

There was, apparently, also a Fountain Head school, at which Mrs. Laurette MacRae, was teacher in 1931[1]. She was from Rollo Bay.
